Amy Shuckburgh paints landscapes, still life, and figurative work, using soft pastel, oil paint and collage. Her landscapes are preoccupied with how colour affects mood. She simplifies shapes and uses dynamic brushstrokes and vivid tones to convey the emotion felt in a place. 

Amy's motherhood series observes the unsung tasks of caregiving, depicting the exhaustion and pleasures of being a mother. Her drawings of domestic scenes are raw, honest and full of movement.
