I paint landscapes, still life, and figurative work, using soft pastel, oil paint and collage. I work in vivid colours and dynamic marks to concentrate on the energy and emotion in a scene.
My recent landscapes have focused on Ravenscourt Park and the surrounding area, including the Scrubs, the river and Shepherds Bush Green. I also paint scenes of Cornwall, Wales and France, and still life compositions in a range of sizes and prices.
For many years I have explored the emotional terrain of motherhood in my work, capturing familiar domestic scenes in drawings and paintings that are raw, honest and full of movement.
I have lots of unframed works, and cards for sale, in my studio on Jeddo Road, off the Askew Road, W12. I look forward to meeting you.
