I work primarily as a graphic designer although I did study Graphics and Illustration at Art College.

I have always continued to paint and draw but Lockdown was a perfect time for me to devote more time to something that gives me a lot of pleasure (and sometimes pain!).

I love drawing water. I generally use pastel to draw thundery skies looming over the sea, if possible from my own photographs and quick onsite sketches. 

I prefer to use oils for portraits and life drawing.

I am currently designing and illustrating a book about the history of light. This has enabled me to combine digital drawing with photomontage to produce ideas-based illustrations.
