In 2018 he was shortlisted for the Emerge art prize. In 2020 he was shortlisted for the New Emergence Art Prize. In July 2021 King was one of the recipients of the Turner Open Call Prize which was part of an exhibition at the Turner Gallery in Margate from October 23 - 28 February 2022. From October 23rd 2021 he had 5 portrait paintings on show for a group exhibition in Denver, Colorado. In 2022, Warren was awarded a solo exhibition at exclusive clothing store Pringle of Scotland in Mayfair. His solo show Martyrs was at The Lauderdale Gallery in Maida Vale. Interviewed by Made In Bed - the in-house magazine of Sotheby’s, his work appeared in their Review Of 2022 magazine. Warren’s work was selected by Artit as one of their Landscape Artists of the Year, 2024. In the same year he was shortlisted for the Emerge Art prize.
