Printmaking, sculpture

Printmaking allows me to experiment with putting an idea through variations, changing the atmosphere with different colours as if I were changing the lights in a theatre. I like to play with silhouettes in imaginary landscapes that represent some hybrid of human, animal and divine. Music, epics, myths and voyages weave their way into these pictures. An etched plate is often just the starting point for a print to which I'll then add different layers of mono print. It's rare for two prints to come out the same.
