Handweaver

I am a handweaver of contemporary textiles. Working on a traditional floor loom, I most enjoy experimenting with colour and the interaction of warp and weft is the perfect vehicle for creating the colours that come of optical mixing. My inspiration is derived from nature – land, sea and sky. I use fine wool and silk to produce scarves and shawls that are both warm and luxurious.
