I work primarily as a graphic designer although I did study Graphics and Illustration at Central School of Art and Design.
I have always continued to paint and draw but Lockdown was a perfect time for me to devote more time to something that gives me a lot of pleasure (and sometimes pain!).
I love drawing water. I generally use pastel to draw thundery skies looming over the sea, if possible from my own photographs and quick onsite sketches.
I prefer to use oils for portraits and life drawing.
The book Stories with Light, I have designed and illustrated has just been printed. This has enabled me to combine digital drawing with photomontage to produce ideas-based illustrations.
