Ceramics, painting, textiles
I work mainly in oils and watercolour and I love the bright, vibrant colours and beautiful shapes of fruits, vegetables and flowers. I enjoy painting the birds that visit our garden, the fish in our pond, or trying to capture the spirit of someone’s precious dog or cat. I’ve taken elements of my paintings to create designs for aprons, oven gloves tea towels, scarves and cushion covers as well as trays, chopping boards and greeting cards. A more recent passion is ceramics – bowls, platters and boxes.
The studio is not on the ground floor.
A couple of steps after the gate, then left across front paved area and down the stairs to the basement flat.
125 Goldhawk Road is on the south side of the road, between Sycamore Gardens and Brackenbury Road. It's about a 4 minute walk from Goldhawk Road tube station and there's a bus stop (St. Stephen's Avenue) pretty much outside the door served by the 94 and the 237. Come and enjoy a cup of proper coffee or tea and a biscuit or two.
