I use acrylics because of their versatility, giving vibrancy and colour, and subtle changes giving depth and atmosphere. My sea paintings combine the elements to shape the final painting – working quickly while the canvas is still seawater wet. I try to capture what I sense of the environment: many of my paintings have an abstract feel. I work also in pastels and experiment with various media.
The studio is not on the ground floor.
Entrance unsuitable for wheelchairs or limited leg movement since there are steps and tide barriers to be climbed and crossed.
