Handmade functional ceramics
- Hi, I'm Nupur Narain Detar, ethnically from India but now a global citizen. Clay has become my creative expression, having worked as an Interior, furniture and theatre set Designer, among other in the past. Recently I have discovered the wheel and am loving the combination of hand building and throwing ceramics. My main influences are my Indian heritage, exposure to world cultures and nature. My pieces are usually inspired by a personal memory, a story, or nature. Each one is unique, functional and food safe.
