Nupur’s intricate and meticulously hand-built pieces reflect a deep reverence for tradition, yet with a contemporary twist. Her work centres on imperfect shapes, organic materials and a constantly evolving aesthetic.

Nupur is a self-trained ceramist, with a graduate degree in Interior Design. Influenced by a lifetime of living in thirteen different countries, she has had many opportunities to learn about diverse art practices around the world.

Her creative process is guided by spontaneity and intuition. Pieces are rarely planned in advance and no two are the same.

She loves the tactile and malleable nature of clay, with its endless possibilities and elements of surprise
