Drawing, mixed media, painting
I'm delighted to be part of Artists At Home this year, exhibiting a selection of my recent work kindly hosted by Hamish Pringle.
Colour and light have always been at the heart of the subjects that I am drawn to. A familiarity that comes with a subject whether it is landscape, interiors or still life are very important to me. The more a location is understood through drawing and painting, the more possibilities make themselves available to explore visually.
For this year, I will also be showing a number of my experimental pieces which use mixed media, exploring watercolour in a completely different way for me.
