My main focus is experimentation with colour and light, working in oils on canvas, linen and canvas - many are framed. My seascapes are inspired by the many years I lived on the Dorset coast in a genre somewhere between realism and textural expressionism. My landscapes are based on my experience of all the seasons, creating artwork which reflects the natural world in a more realistic genre. My garden flower paintings are created from 'live' set ups with controlled lighting to enhance the colours and freshness of a vibrant display.
The studio is on the ground floor.
