Ceramics
I make functional stoneware and porcelain ceramics fired to a minimum of 1240 degrees centigrade, wheel thrown and decorated with home-made glazes. I avoid using stains as colorants, instead using a variety of metal compounds to give the glazes their distinctive colours. I spent 5 years in Japan which continues to influence my pottery.
All my pieces can go in the dishwasher but I do not recommend using them in a microwave.
Please note dimensions as photographs are not to scale. More photographs of any pieces can be provided on request.
